Job Description

Seeking experienced full-time installers with a background in woodworking and cabinet/garage installation. Along with providing a proficient level of craftsmanship and exceptional customer service, you will collaborate with closet designers and installation team members on each project.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, pantries and other spaces.
• Utilize company-provided drawings to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all times and use required protective gear.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicle in a safe manner.
• Driven to complete high-quality work without short-cutting quality and with minimal supervision.
• Detail oriented
• Work with a sense of urgency and accuracy simultaneously

Qualifications

• 1-2 year experience in custom closet installation, cabinet installation, general carpentry, or construction related fields
• Strong work ethic and respect for others
• Reliable work history and attendance record
• Ability to unload and carry material up to 50 pounds for typically up to 2 hours/day
• Experience with hand tools, drills, screw-gun, table saw, miter saw
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to efficiently work independently and with a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Current North Carolina driver’s license with a good driving record
• Customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Generate and follow-up on sales leads, company provided leads are available
• Utilize company provided design software to create custom organizational solutions based on client needs and company standards
• Measure each project space to company specifications
• Communicate effectively with the clients, sales team, and install team
• Willing to learn and implement new sales techniques and design best practices
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, contractors, designers, etc.
• Effective networking skills (trade associations, charitable organizations, etc.)
• Provide a high level of customer service from initial customer contact until the completion of the project
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in closet sales, interior design, residential sales, space planning, or other design-related field
• Strong work ethic and respect for others
• Reliable work history and attendance record
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

Salary: Commission based after training period/bonuses available
