I have spent 30 years in the custom closet business as a salesperson, trainer, and executive before taking the leap to open and own Inspired Closets Atlanta. I’m excited to bring a deep knowledge of how the process should work and a laser focus on the overall customer experience to the business. Julianna Somerville
Customer Experience Manager
Julianna brings a unique blend of organization, creativity, and heart to her role at Inspired Closets Atlanta. With a background that includes eight years in account management for an international health insurance company and experience as a Customer Support Specialist in the custom closet industry, she excels at managing details while keeping clients’ needs at the forefront. From corporate leadership to stay-at-home mom, Julianna’s journey has shaped her ability to balance structure with empathy, helping clients bring their ideas to life with ease and confidence.
Julianna and her family have lived in north metro Atlanta for nearly a decade. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, reading, tackling DIY home projects, and supporting her husband’s community basketball league.

Melissa Purdon
Senior Designer
With a background in graphic design and commercial art, Melissa brings nearly a decade of experience in custom closet design to Inspired Closets Atlanta. Her eye for aesthetics and creative problem-solving shines through in every project, from closets and garages to pantries, offices, and media rooms. Passionate about helping clients create peaceful, harmonious spaces, Melissa finds joy in collaborating with homeowners, builders, and her team to bring thoughtful designs to life.
A Johns Creek resident for over 15 years, Melissa enjoys drawing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and college-aged son.
Ellie Bizot
Designer
Ellie has a wide range of professional experience, including training animals for film and television and teaching Pilates. In February of 2026, she bought her first home and discovered a love for interior design and home organization. When the chance to work in the closet industry arose, it was too perfect of a match for Ellie to not jump at the opportunity! In her role at Inspired Closets, she loves being able to flex her creative muscles while helping others achieve their goals for their homes. Ellie is inspired by figuring out how to create a physical work/life balance in someone’s home, like creating a bespoke area dedicated to their hobbies.
Ellie is a huge animal lover. She’s been an avid equestrian from the age of seven, and she loves spending her free time riding or out at the barn. She also enjoys training and spending time with her dogs, and improving her husbandry with her snake. At one point, she even had a raccoon and two goats! Ellie also spends a lot of her free time doing home improvement projects. She’s currently in the process of painting the interior of her home and refinishing her kitchen cabinets.

Joel Martin
Director of Operations
With nearly 20 years of experience in the custom closet industry, Joel brings a deep knowledge of installation and a creative approach to every project. After beginning his career in auto mechanics, Joel discovered his passion for design and problem-solving, which led him to the world of custom storage solutions. At Inspired Closets, he loves collaborating with his team to transform clients’ spaces and bring their visions to life.
Outside of work, Joel and his wife, Nicole, enjoy spending time on Lake Hartwell with their two dogs, traveling, and tackling home projects. A craftsman at heart, Joel also enjoys woodworking and creating custom furniture for their home.
Jessica Chait
Sales and Business Development Manager
Jessica has more than 16 years of experience in sales, marketing, relationship building, and client experience across numerous industries. Most recently, she spent several years in the custom closet and home organization industry, first as a Senior Designer and then as a Market Director where she led a team of designers while also focusing on sales and client experiences. Throughout her career, Jessica has built thousands of client relationships and discovered that what she loves most is connecting with people, helping them identify what they need, and finding creative ways to bring their visions to life. Her current role with Inspired Closets allows her to bring her experiences together to help grow the brand throughout Atlanta.
Jessica is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but has called Smyrna, Georgia home since 2005. She and her husband have two teenage sons and a mini Goldendoodle, Cooper, who they consider another member of the family. They all love spending time together, traveling, and making the most of this busy season of life with two teenagers. Jessica also enjoys attending any live music event, working out at Burn Boot Camp, and organizing just about anything. So she definitely found the right industry!
