Tara Comfort

Senior Design Consultant

Tara has lived in the Kansas City area most of her life and is excited to bring her energy and creativity to Inspired Closets. She prioritizes getting to know each of her clients’ unique needs and vision for their space, ultimately creating a beautiful and functional solution that will serve them for years to come.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Tara tells us that she believes an organized space can truly impact your day-to-day life. When she is not working, you can find Tara crafting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two boys. They all enjoy attending sporting events and going on walks with their adorable Cavapoo, Lucy.

Alexis Cross

Designer

Alexis brings passion for creativity and design to her role as a Designer at Inspired Closets Kansas City. With a wealth of experience in custom closet design, Alexis has honed her skills in crafting functional and beautiful spaces that are tailored to each client’s unique needs. She is thrilled to elevate her work with Inspired Closets’ advanced 3D software, allowing her to bring her designs to life with precision and flair.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Alexis shares that she’s inspired by the talent and beauty in our world. With each new face she meets, she’s thrilled to learn about their achievements and the events that made them who they are today. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys scenic walks with her mini Australian shepherd, Millie. She’s also close with her family in Salisbury, MO, and treasures her grandparents’ love and support. Alexis is also occasionally guilty of indulging in retail therapy—good thing she’s a custom closet expert!

Tara and Creighton took care of any issues I had with the installation. They were prompt and professional and stand behind their work.

Meet Creighton, our awesome Project Coordinator who brings a wealth of experience in home remodeling to his role. His daily tasks include ensuring your project runs smoothly, from getting your home’s measurements to coordinating installations and addressing customer questions. With a knack for organization and an eye for functionality, Creighton ensures every project is a total success for our clients.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Creighton shares that, growing up in a tight-knit, organized family, he learned the importance of structure early on and brings that same attention to detail to his work. He’s inspired by doing his best to make sure every job is done right the first time. Outside of work, you'll find Creighton camping, fishing, and cheering on his talented son at sporting events.

Erin Dredge

Office Manager

Erin Dredge, our Office Manager at Inspired Closets Kansas City, is a key part of our day-to-day operations. Her role encompasses administrative support, financial duties, project coordination, and safety compliance to ensure a productive and efficient work environment. Erin finds joy in witnessing the transformation of our projects, from the initial consultation to the final installation, that elevates our clients’ daily lives.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Erin tells us that, as a passionate problem solver, she’s inspired by learning new things and applying creative solutions to every challenge that comes her way. Erin is an avid reader and enjoys exploring Kansas City with her husband and their two dogs, Peanut and Napoleon. She values the supportive community around her and embraces the opportunity to grow with Inspired Closets Kansas City.

Kevin Herbstritt

Lead Installer

Kevin Herbstritt is a Lead Installer at Inspired Closets Kansas City, bringing over nine years of custom closet and cabinetry expertise to every project. His passion for home design was sparked by his older brother, who taught him the trade and instilled a love for creating quality, functional spaces. After spending more than half a decade with Inspired Closets, Kevin says he is inspired by seeing the “wow” moments and happiness on clients’ faces after an installation is complete.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Kevin shares that his motivation stems from a desire to give efficient, high-quality solutions that bring organization and joy to people’s lives. At home, Kevin is a true family man, cherishing time spent with his amazing wife, four beautiful children, and two dogs. Their shared family adventures, from four-wheeling to traveling the world, are often the highlights of his days.
