Leslie and Sandy bought their first home in Pittsburgh in 1990 and were determined to make every inch work for their family. Together they were able to think outside the box and bring practical solutions to life. They turned their love of organization and simplicity into a profession and a lifestyle! Clients loved their can do attitude, sense of style, ability to really listen and make ideas come to life.
When the McKees are not organizing Pittsburgh they are skiing, biking and traveling. You might find them hiking or building trails in the Laurel Highlands!
Our company’s roots are in the organizing industry. Leslie started a nationally recognized organizing firm in 2000 and as a skilled carpenter and natural organizer Sandy began designing and installing closets for clients in 2008. Together they have been restoring order in the Pittsburgh area as creative problem solvers and space transformers. Inspired Closet Pittsburgh has assembled top designers and installers and have chosen to work with only the finest manufacturers in the industry.
Sandy has always enjoyed problem solving transforming spaces. He is a skilled carpenter and natural organizer. He listens closely to understand what his clients want. He has a terrific work ethic and attention to detail. He is committed to great customer service and is an accredited ACSP designer.
Leslie is a certified professional organizer and coach and continues to manage one of the leading companies in the country. She and her team have been restoring order in the Pittsburgh area for 17 years and she uses that background when designing closets and storage areas. She delivers simple, clean solutions to make your spaces work and feel better.

Jeff joined our team in 2015 and brings creativity and enthusiasm to every project. Coming from a sales background, he is driven to deliver great customer service and innovative designs. He has training in several design programs, has attended several closet conferences, and forums and keeps up to date with the storage industry. He is also a Certified ACSP designer.
His favorite organization tip is the first step is to design a home for your belongings, once you have a dedicated place to put things it's easy to stay organized. You’ll know it’s Jeff when you see a big smile and one of his signature pairs of colorful eye glasses.
Chanel is our office assistant and keeps on top of all the install calendar and orders. She is a design whiz as well, typically translating anything from whole room designs sketched out on paper to small tweaks that customers request onto the computer. You will get a confirmation from Chanel as installation day gets near!
Here at Inspired Closets Pittsburgh, Frank is known for being the best at keeping an eye on details. A Pittsburgh resident for 29 years, and an alumni of University of Pittsburgh, his favorite pastime is taking in the Pirate and Panther games. Frank’s number one tip for installation day is to make sure there is adequate space to stage your project materials to minimize the time installers spend in and the impact they have on your home.
Jeff is known for being ready with a friendly smile and a good laugh. Originally from Erie, he has been a Pittsburgh resident for three years. Jeff’s background includes working with Marriott hotels and building theatrical sets and fashion shows in NYC. Jeff’s number one tip for installation day is to give your closet a fresh coat of paint beforehand. When combined with your new system, it will make the space feel brand new!
Denny came from a culinary background and always enjoyed handyman type work. He has quickly become a quality installer with great attention to detail and pride in his work. He is always looking for get more experience and training which makes him a great problem solver and an important part of the team.
